Mishary Rashid Al-Afasy was born on January 11, 1976, in Kuwait. He comes from a noble family and was raised in a devout Muslim household. From a young age, Al-Afasy showed a keen interest in Islamic studies and Quranic recitation. He memorized the Quran at a tender age and went on to pursue higher education in Islamic sciences.
