This paper examines the artistic and cultural implications of "Cruel Serenade," a project by Gutter Trash, released in its preliminary version (v0.5.0) under the tag "Bitshift." Through a critical analysis of the project's themes, sonic experimentation, and the use of technology, we aim to understand the statement Gutter Trash seeks to make with "Cruel Serenade."
