The film stars David Wenham, Steve Bastoni, and Lacee Duckett as three friends who hire a boat and a guide, Robert (played by David Wenham), to take them on a journey through the infamous Black Water region. Their goal is to catch a giant barramundi, but things quickly take a turn for the worse when they encounter a massive saltwater crocodile.
