Gino Francesconi (1925-2008) was an Italian cellist and music educator. Born in Rome, Italy, Francesconi studied cello with renowned teachers and went on to perform as a soloist and chamber musician. He also had a passion for teaching and developed a method for teaching the cello that emphasized practical exercises and musicality.
