The movie "Om Shanti Om" is a romantic comedy-drama that tells the story of Om Prakash Makhija (Shah Rukh Khan), a struggling actor who was once a famous star in the 1990s. After a tragic accident, Om dies, but his spirit lives on. He is reborn as a TV reporter, and his goal is to expose the truth behind the murder of his former co-star and love interest, Nandini (Rani Mukerji's lookalike, played by Deepika Padukone).
