The movie takes place immediately after the events of Resident Evil: Extinction. Alice (Milla Jovovich) and her fellow survivors are on a mission to find a safe haven from the relentless zombie apocalypse. They embark on a journey to Alaska, where a supposed safe haven has been established. However, upon arrival, they discover that the haven is under attack by the sinister Umbrella Corporation.
