Abdul Haq Dihlavi was a prominent Tamil Islamic scholar and historian from the 19th century. He was born in the city of Delhi, India, but spent much of his life in Tamil Nadu. His most notable work is the "Tarikh al-Hind", a history of India written in Arabic, which was later translated into Tamil.
