The movie follows Garfield (voiced by Bill Murray), a lazy and sarcastic orange tabby cat who lives with his owner Jon Arbuckle (played by Breckin Meyer), a cartoonist. Garfield's life is turned upside down when he is forced to participate in a dog-walking business and gets into a series of misadventures.
