The story follows Kai Jin (played by Khleo Thomas), a young chef who discovers he is the last living member of the Wu Assassins, a legendary group of killers with magical powers. Kai teams up with a group of allies, including Ying (played by Lucy Liu), a powerful and skilled warrior; Fish (played by Ian Anthony Dale), a mysterious and deadly assassin; and Uncle Six (played by Russell Hornsby), a wise and experienced martial artist.
